Welcome to WASHRM, West Alabama's local professional SHRM-affiliated chapter! Formerly known as Tuscaloosa Human Resource Professionals, we've updated our name and look so that we can better offer the HR professionals of Tuscaloosa, Lamar, Fayette, Pickens, Bibb, Sumter, Greene, Hale, Perry, Marengo, Dallas, Choctaw, and Wilcox counties the opportunity to make a difference and grow together. Whether you are new to the field or have many years of experience, we are a local starting point for networking, information, professional development and continued support of excellence in Human Resources.

Our Mission is to provide opportunities for education, partnership, advocacy, and career development for HR professionals in West Alabama through professional association.

MONTHLY MEETINGS

Are you a non-member who'd like to attend a WASHRM monthly meeting? Be our guest! We offer a complimentary one-time guest visit at no charge. Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month (excluding March and August) at Indian Hills Country Club from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm. Lunch will be provided. 

Already used your free one-time visit? No problem! Become a member or pay individually for the meetings you want to attend. The cost per meeting is $30. We can't wait to see you there!

We meet on the third Wednesday of each month - excluding the months of March and August. Lunch is provided. Members and applicable guests must register to attend each meeting by visiting the Events page.
