January Meeting: Issues for Older Workers

The January meeting, led by Kayla Clark and Dennis Stripling with the West Alabama Regional Commission, will focus on the topic of "Issues for Older Workers."

Kayla Clark has been with West Alabama’s Area Agency on Aging for ten years. Her most recent role has been coordinating the State Health Insurance and Assistance Program (SHIP). The Area Agency on Aging hosts the SHIP (State Health Insurance and Assistance Program). This is a federally funded Medicare counseling program. SHIP is a great resource for your employees! SHIP offers free and unbiased Medicare education to those who are turning 65 but continuing to work, retiring and losing group health insurance, need assistance with Medicare enrollment, as well as coordination of benefits information.
