April Meeting: Mentoring the Next Generation of HR

The April meeting will focus on the subject of "Workplace Investigations," led by Mike Perkins, Frontline HR.

Mike Perkins is President of Frontline HR Solutions and Frontline Develop, Alabama-based companies with a national footprint.  He also serves as Corporate Counsel/Senior Consultant with Oklahoma-based Labor Relations Institute (LRI), a national labor relations leader whose core purpose is helping employers create extraordinary workplaces in a union-free environment.

Mike is a former partner at Clark, Partington law firm in Pensacola, FL, VP and Chief Operationg Officer of Landrum Human Resource Companies, and former Employee Relations Manager for Progress Rail, the Rail Division of Caterpillar Corporation. With over 30 years’ experience in law, human resources, employee relations and labor relations, Mike has provided valuable legal and HR guidance, support, training and coaching for business and non-profit leaders and organizations throughout the U.S.   

Mike is a licensed attorney (FL), a SHRM Senior Certified Professional, a John Maxwell-certified trainer/coach, and a Registered Civil Mediator in Alabama. He is a member of SHRM Chapters in Marshall and Calhoun Counties in Alabama, and is a former President of the Greater Pensacola SHRM.  

Throughout his career, Mike has conducted or managed hundreds of internal and external workplace investigations.
