The May meeting will be led by Ashley Hamlett, Rehab Alabama. Ashley will discuss the services that ADRS provides to employers and employees to assist with ADA accommodations.
Ashley earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and her law degree from the University of Alabama. Currently, she serves as the general counsel at the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services, a state agency dedicated to assisting individuals with disabilities in achieving self-sufficiency and independence.
Prior to her current role, Ashley worked as in-house counsel for the Alabama Departments of Education and Public Health. She has also held a position on the faculty at Jones School of Law, where she served as both a professor and the director of legal research and writing. In addition, Ashley has experience as an administrative law judge, where she adjudicated state employment and licensing cases.
