She owns and operates SK Services LLC—a WBENC- and WOSB-certified diversity supplier—and Dental Staffing, which provides comprehensive staffing and HR solutions to dental practices. Sonya is known for delivering quality results, building lasting client relationships, and creating opportunities for diverse and second‑chance talent. She is passionate about workforce development, team growth, and supporting organizations through effective staffing and HR partnerships.

Mike Perkins, Frontline HR & Training, will lead our May meeting, where he will discuss the ADA, the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act, and the “Interactive Process.”

Mike serves as the President of Frontline HR & Training, a team of Trusted Advisors supporting employers throughout the U.S. He is also Corporate Counsel/Senior Consultant for the Labor Relations Institute (LRI), a national labor relations leader. With more than 30 years of experience in law, human resources, employee relations, and labor relations, Mike has guided organizations nationwide through leadership development, compliance, and complex workplace challenges. He is a licensed attorney (FL), SHRM Senior Certified Professional, John Maxwell–certified trainer/coach, and a longtime SHRM leader. Mike brings a practical, experienced perspective to today’s evolving employment environment.

Lorrie Coffey with Horizon Point will lead the July meeting discussing the topic of Feedback/Feedforward and Graceful Accountability.

Lorrie Coffey is a Talent Management Consultant with Horizon Point, specializing in strategic HR planning, full‑scale HR audits, compensation strategy design, HR process improvement, and recruitment support. She is dedicated to helping organizations strengthen their talent management practices, foster healthy workplace relationships, and become employers of choice.

Lorrie holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from James Madison University and a Master of Jurisprudence in Labor and Employment Law from Tulane University Law School. She is an SPHR and SHRM‑SCP certified HR professional and brings extensive experience in compliance, payroll and benefits administration, and organizational development.
